Merrimack Valley Fanfare was written in honor of the extraordinary region in which I live, work, and play. Starting 40 miles west of Boston, and extending almost 100 miles north, the Merrimack Valley has great skiing, summer lake resorts, beaches, and countless acres of forest all in one single region. In addition, it is the birthplace of Leonard Bernstein, Robert Frost, and Jack Kerouac, and was one of the early locations of the Industrial Revolution in the U.S.A.
