Pullman Suite – for solo guitar – Brad Ard

Pullman Suite is a piece consisting of seven pieces written in the Spring of 2014 for solo guitar representing programmatic compositions elicited from my initial impressions of Eastern Washington State. They are of medium difficulty and suitable for Recital performance.

The book is arranged in two sections. First the seven tunes are offered in standard notation only facilitating a minimum of page turns for performance. In the second section all of the tunes are notated in both standard notation and TAB. These are intended to help with the most suitable positions on the neck as this might not be evident at first. Open strings are used to give the pieces a more open and flowing quality.
